Missouri State Highway Patrol hosts Youth Program at Sunnyhill Adventures

Sergeant Bob Parr, and Missouri State Highway Patrol Troopers, spent last week at Sunnyhill Adventures in Dittmer speaking to High School Students who are interested in a career in Law Enforcement. Cadets ranged from incoming high school freshmen to graduating high school seniors. Cadets who participated in the Youth Program had to be in good physical condition, capable of enduring aerobic (running) and endurance activities requiring reasonable fitness levels, and had to be able to reside at Sunnyhill Adventures throughout the week.

Those who took part in this experience learned what it takes to become a law enforcement officer, learned about police procedures and training, and participated in military drills, sports, physical fitness, life skills, team building, first aid and CPR, firearms safety, and much, much more!

Cadets were able to spend a day enjoying a lot of what Sunnyhill Adventures has to offer, including; climbing the 50-foot Alpine Tower, swinging on the "swing", and ziplining across our 5-acre lake. Check out all of the fun below!
