Sunnyhill Launches Emergency Food Drive

Supporting People with Developmental Disabilities Facing Nutrition Gaps

Sunnyhill has launched an emergency food drive to support people with developmental disabilities who may face disruptions in nutrition resources due to the anticipated pause in Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits.

This temporary pause, expected to begin November 1, 2025, may leave many individuals and families in urgent need of food assistance.

“This is an urgent, time-limited effort to ensure nobody in our community faces hunger,” said Amy Wheeler, CEO/President of Sunnyhill. “We invite everyone to come together and help fill the gap so individuals and families have access to the food and essentials they need.”

Together, We Can Make a Difference

This emergency drive addresses a short-term nutrition gap caused by the federal benefit disruption. Your contribution helps ensure that people with developmental disabilities have the food and essentials they need during this challenging time.
