Through a variety of engaging activities and group opportunities, participants practice life skills, enjoy meaningful community involvement, and grow friendships in a supportive and welcoming environment.

Navigating complex systems of care can be overwhelming for families. Sunnyhill provides expert guidance to ensure families feel supported and informed. Services include linking families with resources, creating action plans, and fostering optimism through community partnerships and peer-to-peer networks.

Programming: Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

Our ABA program offers tailored behavioral interventions designed to improve communication, social skills, and daily living activities. Specialists work closely with individuals and their care teams to develop strategies that ensure positive outcomes and personal growth.

Programming: Independent Supported Living Assistance (ISLA and Pre-ISLA)

Sunnyhill provides one-on-one support for individuals aged 18 and older, focusing on developing essential skills for independent living. Services include assistance with budgeting, meal preparation, and personal care, empowering individuals to lead self-sufficient lives.

We offer personalized living options for individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities. Support includes comprehensive assistance with daily activities, transportation, education, medical care coordination, and recreational opportunities. These services are available across more than 45 residential properties, ensuring individuals receive the care they need in a safe and nurturing environment.

Waiver-Individualized Supported Living

Sunnyhill supports individuals living in shared homes with up to four residents. These homes are designed to foster positive and enriching living environments, with 24/7 personalized support to meet the unique needs of each resident.

Sunnyhill Independence Center (SIC/ALF)

Our (ALF) in Desoto, Missouri, offers a vibrant and inclusive community for individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities. Residents enjoy access to recreational and communal spaces, as well as personalized care that promotes independence and social connection.

Sunnyhill’s Day Program empowers adults with IDD to thrive through a wide range of volunteer, recreational, and educational activities across the Greater St. Louis area. Hosted at our inclusive Sunnyhill Adventures campus, participants enjoy tailored support in a welcoming environment designed to foster independence, connection, and joy.
