Our Jefferson County supports, including the Sunnyhill Independence Center (SIC) in De Soto, MO, are built on this belief and focus on helping people shape their own lives with the right support to succeed. SIC is an Assisted Living Facility operated by Sunnyhill Inc., a nonprofit serving the community since 1978. It sits on an 18-acre rural campus and includes three residential buildings and shared spaces like a cafeteria, pond, community garden, and bocce ball court. These spaces support recreation, relaxation, friendships, and daily activities both on campus and in the community.
