aDULT dAY pROGRAM

Sunnyhill’s Adult Day Program empowers adults with diagnosed with IDD to thrive through a wide range of volunteer, recreational, and educational activities across the Greater St. Louis area. Hosted at our inclusive Sunnyhill Adventures campus, participants enjoy tailored support in a welcoming environment designed to foster independence, connection, and joy.

  • At Sunnyhill, we believe every adult diagnosed with Developmental Disabilities (IDD) deserves the chance to be included, build independence, and enjoy life to the fullest. Our Day Program takes place at our 65-acre accessible campus in Dittmer, Missouri. Here, adults take part in activities that help them learn new skills, connect with the community, and follow their interests.

    The Day Program gives adults with IDD the support they need to grow through community activities, recreation, and learning opportunities in Jefferson County and the Greater St. Louis area. In a supportive and welcoming setting, participants have the chance to build independence, make friends, and have fun. From skill-building classes to outings in the community, there are many ways to be engaged and feel included.

    • Skill Development: Learn independence through self-care, social, and daily living skills.

    • Community Integration: Take part in real-world activities outside of the program.

    • Full Social Inclusion: Join events, activities, and clubs that encourage belonging.

    • Personalized Support: Activities designed around each person’s goals and interests.

    • Retirement-Friendly Options: Flexible choices for hobbies, relaxation, and social time.

    • Individualized support available ranging from 1:1 to 1:6, based on each participant’s needs.

    • Completion of a two-day free trial to ensure program fit and participant interest.
