  • Your full-time status date may be different than your hire date, depending on the circumstances. However, all full-time hourly employees MUST work 40 hours per week.

  • Sunnyhill offers a comprehensive health benefit plan. Employees must pay a portion towards this plan each pay-period.

  • Dental Insurance is available. Sunnyhill, Inc. provides this benefit for employees.

  • Vision Insurance is available. Employees must pay a portion towards this plan each pay-period.

  • Sunnyhill provides a $15,000 Basic Life and AD&D policy for full-time employees.

  • All full-time employees are allowed up to three (3) days of bereavement leave per calendar year for immediate family. Immediate family is defined in the Employee Handbook.

  • PTO is paid time away from work and is to be used for holidays, vacation time, personal days, or illness.

    Accrual Rates:

    0-6 months: 0 accrual - 40 hours

    PTO granted at end of 6 months

    6 months - 2 years: 184 hours per year (.0885 hours per hour paid)

    2 years - 6 years: 224 hours per year (.1077 hours per hour paid)

    6 years - 10 years: 264 hours per year (.1274 hours per hour paid)

    10+ years: 300 hours per year (.1445 hours per hour paid)

    The maximum accrual of PTO time is 300 hours. When employment is terminated, PTO will be paid out pursuant to Sunnyhill's Termination of Employment Policy.

Sunnyhill Employee benefits:

  • Premium pay holidays are days in which certain hours are considered "premium pay hours". The pay for hours worked during these times is 1 1/2 times the employees rate of pay at the time the hours are worked.

    Thanksgiving Day - 10:00 am to 6:00 pm

    Christmas Eve - 4:00 pm to 12:00 midnight

    Christmas Day - 8:00 am to 6:00 pm

    New Year's Eve - 6:00 pm to 12:00 midnight

    Fourth of July - 12:00 noon to 9:00 pm

  • Sunnyhill offers a 401K Retirement plan. Participation is open to employees who (1) are 21 years of age or older (2) have completed one year of service, and (3) have worked a minimum of 1000 hours in the previous months. Watch for information in the employee newsletter and flyers posted prior to these meeting dates. Sunnyhill, Inc. does not contribute to this plan.

  • Sunnyhill offers Assurant Voluntary Supplemental Benefits which are available in the first 30 days of employment for all employees and also at annual open enrollment. Employee must contact an Assurant representative.
