Advocacy Webinar

What Advocates Need to Know About Missouri's Role in the "504 Lawsuit" (Texas v. Kennedy)

You may have heard Texas v. Kennedy referred to as the "504 lawsuit." Missouri is one of the states participating in this federal case, which could have significant implications for disability rights and the future of community integration.

Join us for a timely webinar to learn how the lawsuit began, what legal issues are at stake, how it could affect people with disabilities and their families, how one state organized to influence their State’s withdrawal from the lawsuit and why Missouri's participation matters.

We'll also discuss related federal actions that may impact the rights of people with disabilities to live, work, and participate in their communities.

Meet our expert panelists:

David Hutt, Deputy Executive Director for Legal Services with the National Disability Rights Network

Rocky Nichols, Executive Director of the Disability Rights Center of Kansas
