Sippin' for Sunnyhill: A Night of Philanthropy, Racing, and Fun!

This year, Sippin’ for Sunnyhill is moving from winter to July, and we’re taking the celebration outside for a summer night full of fun, flavor, and community spirit — Sunnyhill style.

Join us for an evening of Matchbox race car racing, a silent auction featuring original artwork by Sunnyhill Artists, a live ARTwear pop-up shop, and more.

Enjoy great drinks, globally inspired BBQ appetizers from James Beard Award-winning Chef Gerard Craft's Niche Food Group, and even better company — all while supporting Sunnyhill’s mission of lighting the path to empowered living for people diagnosed with developmental disabilities.

Why We Gather

All proceeds from this year’s event will go toward building a new BBQ patio at the Sunnyhill Independence Campus in DeSoto, MO - creating an inclusive space where our community can gather, relax, cook, and celebrate together. 10% of all proceeds benefit the Sunny Day Fund.

About the Venue:

Expat BBQ Outdoor Patio Hosted on the third-floor terrace of Expat BBQ’s three-story venue, this vibrant open-air space blends a laid-back, festive vibe with standout amenities: Covered patio with fan system for comfort in all weather Built-in stage for live Matchbox Car viewing Wraparound bar with summer cocktails. Colorful decor in peach, teal, and yellow, plus “Patty”, a pink concrete elephant perfect for selfies

As a free-standing Nonprofit Organization, program and service impacts are a testament to the power of community support. We rely entirely on the generosity of our community, including in-kind contributions, fundraising, grants, and government subsidies. We aim to inspire others to join us in creating a more inclusive and equitable society. General Admission includes entry to the party, two drink tickets, and BBQ-inspired appetizers from Gerard Craft’s EXPAT BBQ.

VIP Ticket

VIP Tickets include exclusive party admission for one, access to the open premium bar, BBQ appetizers from Gerard Craft’s EXPAT BBQ, and a Matchbox race car.

Infield Ticket (2 VIP Guest + 2 Car)

Includes admission for two to the party, access to an open premium bar, BBQ appetizers by Gerard Craft’s EXPAT BBQ, and (2) custom-decorated Hot Wheels cars created by a Sunnyhill Artist.
